Activities to address the opioid crisis will vary with the size of the organization, location, scope of hospital and physician services, and community and state resources. However, all services developed should be integrated with the resources across the community. In addition to sharing this information with clinical leadership, care teams and organizations addressing this issue in your com- munity, consider forming a team to look at the issue and joining a learning network. The AHA is working to develop a forum for hospitals and health systems across the U.S. to come together to think through key strategies to stem the opioid epidemic.

A 2,080-hour practice require- ment was included as a uniform licensure requirement to obtain a multistate license, a practical solution to achieve licensure mobility for APRNs, without imposing the restrictions of a TTP on licensees. National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) | NCSBN
Site: ncsbn.org
The National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) is a confidential information clearinghouse with the primary goal of improving health care quality, protecting the public, and reducing health care fraud and abuse in the U.S. The NPDB, created by federal law, requires reporting of medical malpractice payments and certain adverse actions related to health care practitioners, providers, and suppliers. Although these reports are not available to the general public, various entities (eg. hospitals and other health care entities) may query the NPDB to obtain information on a specific licensee or entity. These web-based reports are available in real-time and are meant to serve primarily as a national flagging system. Once flagged, the querier should complete a comprehensive review of the credentials of health care practitioner, entity, provider or supplier.

So that you could be taken care of at home, and technicians would put things, technical pieces of equipment, in your home, and physicians would make a visit, a nurse practitioner might make a visit, a physical therapist might...
