We're like, "No, Jason, this is good. This is how we go from an idea to figure out is this something that works? Is this something that's worth our time to invest in? Should we move it forward?" And instead of him sitting in and mulling over this idea for six months, we went in this three week period of time had iterated through 3Different prototypes and ended up with one that they ran for four hours successfully, his team did. And they were, as you can see in the picture, just thrilled it worked. So they're still considering or they're making some tweaks to the design.

So, you could see then looking at trends, if the data within Nursys from your board is increasing or going down. There are some key data elements that all the board should be looking at. First one is the DI 4, 4a and 5. And this all is related to discipline records. DI 6 through 9 includes licensure data directly related to verifications. DI 25 and 26 has to do with missing SSN and DOB. And this is important because we use those two, particularly for our matching within Nursys. And then last is DI 39 to 44, which are education records utilized in the verification process.

The committee reviewed the evaluation feedback from Delegate Assembly 2002 regarding the role of the Committee on Nominations, the election process, and the concern when there are more than two candidates from one area. The committee reviewed the video “Building a Successful Team” and discussed recruitment strategies. The committee reviewed the contents of the reference manual and members suggested that sample solicitation letters be included. They also suggested that a contact list of people who were interested in a committee but not appointed, current committee members, people who ran for elected office but were not elected, and board members who are eligible for re-election, be devel- oped every year for inclusion into the reference manual.

I actually should mention too, this is always kind of a funny thing to throw out there, but as evidence of the fact that this research team truly never sleeps, while I am presenting the results of the 2024 survey just now, we will be looking to coordinate with many in this room, come annual meeting later this year, to set up planning for the 2026 survey cycle. So it's a labor of love, this project, sometimes.
