    And unfortunately, there is no one way to do things. - And if you take this list and it's a very complicated decision tree, it really is. So we broke it down here on this slide. You take that same list with those same options and you think of it as a pendulum. If you do too much of one, it's going to be a very punitive, non-therapeutic, non-beneficial way to address it. And if you swing the pendulum too far the other way and it becomes too treatment-centric and treatment-focused, and it almost appears to be a little bit coddling, it's not beneficial and it's not therapeutic and it's not effective.

    Most of the nurses that we get don't really realize that they have a substance use disorder. They haven't really gotten it yet. They haven't had any exposure to treatment at all. And while there's, you know, kind of an expectation that a nurse that's in the program is abstinent, and any unauthorized substance use is non-compliance, significant non-compliance, it's also unrealistic, you know, to believe that every nurse in the program is going to be able to stop cold turkey when, again, this is their first exposure to treatment, their first exposure to monitoring, their first exposure to all of this.
