    So candidates are asked, again, to bag all electronic devices during the entire testing appointment. So candidates will sign the candidate statement, agreeing to its terms and conditions. So it is NCSBN policy that candidates do not access any electronic devices throughout the appointment. Candidates, however, are provided with the Testing Center site information, including the site's telephone number, should the candidate have an urgent or emergency issue to arise, they can supply that telephone number.     If it's not an address that is connected with the institution where they're employed at, if it's a Yahoo address, a Gmail account, AOL, I would question that. They, students, from my experience, have made up preceptors. They've made up clinical sites on the web and made a, you know, a site that you could go to and it looks like a hospital site. And looks like these are valid people. And they're not. So be cautious of emails that you're given for your preceptors. - It was a bad outcome that caught you onto this, would there have been anything else before that that might have been a red flag or a trigger that something was wrong?

She has served in the capacity of a peer evaluator for the ACEN for many years. She served as a site visitor and served on the selection committee for the National League for Nursing (NLN) Center of Excellence designation.     That is our structure. Then we have three National federations one joint ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 3 Federation. Our joint Federation would be a little bit like NCSBN where we pull all the groups together that regulate site nurses, practical nurses are RNs and NPs. Our group is the Canadian Council of registered -- CCRNR. Our role is collaborative. It is to help work together to come up with what we would hope would be harmonized principles, practices so that we promote a national approach.

    In 2020, NCSBN launched a research study to investigate the effect of rapid changes made in nursing education programs in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The “National Prelicensure RN Study: Assessing the Impact of COVID-19 on Nursing Education” is currently underway at 55 nursing education sites across 26 U.S. states. The study seeks to determine the extent to which programs changed their instructional formats due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study will then prospectively and longitudinally track over 700 prelicensure nursing students and 450 faculty to measure engagement, academic performance and early career experience.

Which means if you get all the keys, you got one. If you miss one, or has one more, you got zero. So, no partial credit. So, first, let's look at if you're using the same method, what is their score? So, for the pattern one, which is score that will get, if you're using dichotomously? - One. - One. But how about others? - Zero. - Yeah. So this is our current scoring.
