The President shall appoint the Credentials Committee, which is responsible for registering and accrediting delegates and alternate delegates. B. Upon registration, each delegate and alternate shall receive a badge and the appropriate number of voting cards authorized for that delegate. Delegates authorized to cast one vote shall receive one voting card. Delegates authorized to cast two votes shall receive two voting cards. For an intensivist, I would say we must stop the bleeding, but simultaneously building sustainable systems and capabilities to prepare for the long term. Our short-term emergency strategy includes billions of dollars in grants, support for data systems to track fatal and non-fatal overdoses to enable intervention, providing guidance to reduce unnecessary opioid prescribing while supporting the use of non-addictive pain therapies in their further development. Just last month, I joined President Trump and Secretary Azar as we announced an additional $1.8 billion in grants to directly support all 50 states and U.S. territories.
