All rights reserved. 4 While the most common reportable workplace behaviors or issues remained largely unchanged upon follow up, there was a net gain of 10 percentage points or more among those who would now also report issues of diversion, you'll see that was up nearly 32%, reckless behavior, up 26%, termination, up 24%, and standard of care violations, now up 13%. For most other workplace incidents, there were more limited gains or decreases observed. Overall, after using the AEDP tool for several months, approximately 7 in 10 respondents now indicated their facility would report a nurse whose employment was terminated due to their role in a serious adverse event.

The revision considerations include category structure, category content percentages, and content in the form of activity statements and sample content.

The counter to that is equitable access that this is providing access to so many people that wouldn't otherwise have care. But I was just on a visit with some folks from Taiwan that were wanting to talk to us about telehealth in this country. And I'm thinking, I wonder, what are their issues, their primary issues? They have great broadband. They have a government-funded program, so money is not the issue.

In summary, the cognitive continuum theory brings resolution to the opposing views that decisions are either all analytical or all intuitive. It balances the criticism that (a) analytical thinking is a unitary generic process that is insensitive to idiosyncrasies of the decision task context and (b) that intuition is almost entirely tied to context-specific elements that are unique to each decision. This solution acknowledges the diversity of individual cognitive strategy thereby mitigating some complexity in nursing decision-making. It provides a valid framework for theoretical and empirical testing, some of which will be discussed below.
