    APRN Advisory Panel Report Action #7 The Board reviewed and discussed the APRN Vision Paper developed for the purpose of providing a future oriented model for advance practice regulation for Member Boards. Kathy Thomas, Chair of the APRN Advisory Panel presented the key points of the paper to the Board. Staff will post the draft APRN Vision Paper for feedback by NCSBN membership on the private side of the web site and then to stakeholders for review and input. The Board approved the plan to obtain feedback on the vision paper complied by APRN Advisory Panel and to execute the vision paper dissemination plan as amended. 6 L.3.

    A surprising finding was that passing rates for first-time, domestically-educated test takers from the U.S. and from Canada has returned to the pre-COVID levels. All the exams show these first-time, domestically- educated test takers were passing at or above 90%. This is incredible to see. It also points out the dedication that the educational programs have employed to both meet the demands of the post-pandemic world and also to prepare their students for the enhanced NCLEX focus on clinical judgment. Excellent work. However, these results should be interpreted with caution, and we'll explain.
