The enhancements expected in 2016 include the addition of seats at current testing centers and the development of new PPCs. As we all know, telehealth is being utilized at a vastly increasing rate, and we felt it incumbent upon ourselves to place all telehealth regulation, be it in the process of being formulated or current legislation, within the Atlas itself. Next, I am going to provide a little bit of a walkthrough through the newly refreshed site itself and take you to the homepage and then a sample profile. As we come to the homepage, you can see a sleek, streamlined new design that not only looks incredible but has a vastly improved functionality and user interface. Here, the tightly paired information is risk of developing x as evidenced by y. Examinees must correctly identify both options in order to earn a full credit of one point. That summarizes all the different new NGN item types along with the three scoring rules, the 0/1 Scoring Rule, the Plus/Minus Scoring Rule, and the Rationale Scoring Rule. Tool #12, Interview Questions for Assessment of EO Competencies, provides questions cross referenced with the EO competencies. Following the in-person interviews, top candidates should be identified. Your NRB may also have requirements for criminal background checks, credit checks, etc. Please check with the appropriate staff to ascertain these requirements as they will vary by NRB. Reference checks should be completed on top candidates. Tool #13, Reference Questions, may be utilized for the candidate’s current supervisor and anyone identified by the candidate as a reference.

And in 2012, Canadian regulators chose the NCLEX-RN as the exam that will be used as a licensure requirement in Canada. NCSBN debuted a consumer outreach campaign, the centerpiece of which was a series of national network television commercials, another first for the organization. NCSBN also launched a new mobile site, and embraced the growing phenomenon of social media, creating Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts for the organization, NCLEX, and learning extension. NCSBN continued to transform its online experience to empower members in the general public with information and access.
