You might also want to look at the APRN page or the page on International Nurses ; the latter page has a Resource Manual for Licensing International Nurses. The Model Nursing Practice Act and Nursing Administrative Rules are also available on the Policy section of the Website. One last resource on the Website that Education Consultants find valuable is the Web Survey tool (link when you log into Passport). This tool can be used to send surveys to the Education Consultants in the other Boards of Nursing. There is a Help icon on the top of Web Survey with some FAQs or call me, and I’ll introduce you to this tool.

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. Correcting Program Code on a Candidate Level If a nursing regulatory body needs to request a change to candidate-level information (e.g., program code, graduation date) after the candidate has taken the exam, the licensing nursing regulatory body may correct the candidate-level information on the Candidate Registration Page within the Exam Administration Website . If the candidate's jurisdiction of education is different than the licensing nursing regulatory body where they applied for licensure/registration, the candidate's jurisdiction of education needs to complete the Candidate Level Change Request Form and email the completed form to ExamsIR@ncsbn.org .
