Although rescheduling by itself does not prohibit boards from requiring abstinence: Policy shift in some states. Some licensing boards may choose to re-evaluate their standards, especially in states with legalized medical or adult-use marijuana, to reflect evolving views on medical marijuana use v. recreational non-prescribed marijuana use. Possible litigation. Professionals disciplined solely for off-duty marijuana use of marijuana prescribed under applicable state medical marijuana programs might challenge those standards under state law or civil rights theories — potentially influencing board practices.

If Amy's new home state is a compact state, she can continue practicing on her former multistate license, but only until she is issued a new multistate license. She cannot wait until her license expires before applying for a new one. If her residency changes to a non-compact state, she will no longer be eligible to hold a multistate license. https://www.ncsbn.org/nlc ©2020 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. That's a quarter of the population of some interaction with downed internet or bandwidth not giving an item. And what does that do to their testing experience and their measurement? These are questions that have to be answered. What evidence do you have related to the effects of non-standardized test environments on testing population? This... Doctors and I will disagree probably till the day we die. I actually think that all exams are pretty robust to standardization of the color of paint on the wall. I don't think it makes any difference.

Upon observing aberrant test-tak- ing behaviors or procedural irregularities, test administrators are trained to immediately record the incidents. Depending on the nature of the incidents, candidates’ results may be placed on hold for further analyses to determine validity of the test scores. Incidents from testing sites are monitored daily. In addition to NCSBN and test service staff, the incident reporting sys- tem is accessible to NCSBN’s member Boards of Nursing. All authorized parties can instantly review a report of a can- didate who engaged in misconduct or aberrant test-taking behaviors.
