What might that look like? - I think when we look at, again, the numbers, we have to make sure that we are using this precious resource of registered nurses really well and looking at how can we relieve them of some of the work that they have been responsible for but really doesn't require the registered nurse. That's part of the analysis, understanding that. Other, I think, other caregivers need to be a part of that team supporting the registered nurse. Our models in the past, often, the registered nurse was caring for a group of patients, for instance, in a hospital or an emergency room largely by themselves.

These are issues that many governments in the higher income countries are tackling. So on the health care side, this means we need to have inter-professional multidisciplinary teams. And you know that the education system is not preparing the workers for that. And importantly, and this is something our Nordic colleagues: Norway, Sweden, have banged us many times. They said, "You cannot forget and treat patients as a separate entity. Patients are a part of the team." It's a huge sea change when you make them an equal partner, as part of the team.

While it can sometimes be challenging to sort out the facts of an issue and the appropriate way to resolve it, I find it very satisfying to be able to provide the candidate with a resolution to their concern or problem. Inefficient Case Resolution (Multivariable) What’s Important: Open caseload, case steps, and umbrella agency type all remained significant drivers of inefficient case closure when examined together. Points of Interest What’s Important: Open caseload is an accurate, but ultimate not very informative predictor of inefficient case resolution. Open caseloads > 787 correctly identified 90% of the cases that would ultimately run over the median closure time. Points of Interest What’s Important: Case/Investigator Ratio is an accurate and informative predictor of inefficient case resolution.

And remember, we had four sources of evidence so each of the guidelines had to have at least two of those evidence areas. And then our site visit template, our site visit template came from the Site Visit Study and it can be useful especially to new education consultants going out, what they should be looking for. And just recently, I had given a course on the role of the education consultant for the ICRS program.

The effective date for the eNLC is the sooner of 26 states enacting the eNLC, or on Dec. 31, 2018. On the effective date, the Interstate Commission is formed and will begin to adopt rules to facilitate the implementation of the eNLC. The actual implementation of the compact by the states occurs six months after the effective date.
