The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. A multistate license facilitates cross-border practice for many types of nurses who routinely practice with patients in other states, including primary care nurses, case managers, transport nurses, school and hospice nurses and many others. The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. Access to specific Hive sites and Web Surveys is controlled by group assignments. You may only have access to Hive or Web Surveys for associated groups if you have been assigned or self-assigned them. Some groups may be assigned only by the NCSBN Admin, others by the Passport Admin, and some are self-assigned by the user. Visit your NCSBN Passport profile to view and change self-assignable groups or contact your Passport Admin to request group membership and access to applications. If you do not know who your Passport Administrator is, submit an inquiry . Passport Admins should review the Passport Guidelines .

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. Utah is the third jurisdiction to have enacted the APRN Compact. North Dakota and Delaware enacted the compact in 2021.
