Thirty two percent did not perform any procedures, and about a quarter perform procedures on most or almost all patients. I'm here to talk a little bit about the Next Generation NCLEX and talk a little bit about the test design. So today's objective is to provide a high-level overview of the Next Generation NCLEX Test Design. We're not going to get into the nitty-gritties. There is a lot of information on our website that talks a lot about the information that I'm going to be providing today. Plus there are going to be sessions at the NCLEX conference that's going to be coming up that's going to give you much more in-depth information. And you can find that information at our website for Next Generation NCLEX as you can see right here.

Bivariate analyses explored variables of successful program completion, and a forward stepwise logistic regression model was run to assess predictors of program success or failure. Results: Successful program completion correlated with the number of years in the program (r = 0.30). The highest percentage of nurses completing a program was at around the 5-year mark. Additionally, 26 random drug tests, 25 support group meetings, and 55 to 60 mutual support group meetings per year were associated with successful program completion. Conclusions: Bimonthly random drug tests, daily check-ins, and a minimum 3-year length of stay in a program were associated with successful program completion.

It was also discovered that there appeared to be a debate between the complainant and the nurse on the blog over local issues. These debates and disagreements resulted in the other blogger filing a complaint against the nurse. A check of the newspaper website confirmed that the nurse appeared to write affectionately about the handicapped child to whom she provided care. In addition to making notes about her “little handicapper,” there were also comments about a wheelchair and about the child’s age. The comments were not meant to be offensive, but did provide personal information about the client.
