All rights reserved. 5 So that might mean something entirely different going into 2025. So speaking of the NLC, let's jump into an NLC update. As you know, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Nurse Licensure Compact implemented in 2000, that celebrates 25 years of facilitating safe and mobile practice for RNs and LPNs. And right now, we are at 43 jurisdictions. And there are also eight jurisdictions that have introduced the NLC so far in 2025. Those are D.C., Hawaii, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, and Oregon. And as of Monday, we've had Alaska introduce the NLC.

Lori is one of the folks who's, I think, caught this more than anybody, that the states are sometimes forgetting to turn that off, and it's an important thing to do. Article V (a)(4) subpoenas. I think almost everybody gets this. Early on, and I understand this fair, fair enough, there was a little bit of confusion in this area. Now, let me say this, the good news, having done this for 22 years, we're really not required to issue that many subpoenas for other states. We can usually get the information, get what we need, put together a pretty good investigative report.
