Within Passport, these different online resources are divided into applications and groups. Specifically, groups enable users to receive NCSBN communications geared toward personal interests. Checking ID forms is just one of the methods to make sure that the candidate is the same person who is present to take the exam. NCSBN also verifies the biometrics that candidates provide on the exam day by taking their photo, scanning their palm vein, and requesting their digital signature as shown here on the slide. NCSBN uses the palm vein recognition technology at testing sites because this method of ID fabrication is fast, highly accurate, and secure. This technology helps NCSBN preventing proxy testers and maintaining the NCLEX exam integrity.
