(Lillis, Takai, & Francis, 2014; Witmer & Rosborough, 2013) • Recidivism rates range from 26 – 39% five years post order completion. (Zhong et al., 2009) BACKGROUND • High fidelity simulation can be an effective education strategy for assessing competency and teaching nurses. (Bultas, Hassler, Ercole, & Rea, 2014; Randolph et al., 2012) • Further research is needed to measure effectiveness of individualized remediation.

On or about May 24, 2023 the Board received a complaint from alleging Respondent failed to properly respond to the fall of Patient A.Y., failed to report the fall, -2- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 and did not respond truthfully when asked about the fall. Based upon the complaints received, the Board conducted an investigation. 3.
