One interviewer would lead the interview while the other took notes. We did not record the interviews because they often took place in non-work public settings such as coffee shops. Interview notes were reviewed by each of the 14 members who participated in the site visit research. We then met to develop consensus on key themes. We then coded the interviews within those initial themes and we reviewed the themes and codings iteratively to ensure that no new themes were emerging. We identified four key thematic areas that I'll talk about today.

So here are the key quality indicators. These are the ones that really make a difference, we have found. Accreditation is really linked to outcomes, and we have done studies on that. And the approval status that all of the boards of nursing do, we found that from our site visit study. Very important data. NCLEX trends. Now remember, the NCLEX is a lagging factor. So what we're trying to do is prevent that from falling by looking at some of these other indicators. Director turnover. You can have more than three directors in five years, and that is bad for your outcomes.
