BON staff will now be able to focus those work efforts on processing ARNP applications for licensure and getting these highly sought after health care practitioners to work in XXX state sooner. Those protocols received prior to June 23, 2017 will be maintained on the ARNP’s’ practitioner profile (website); however, no new protocols will be posted on the website as of the effective date of the statutory change. This is a win-win for the profession and nursing regulation as a whole. One of the first meetings I scheduled when I became TITLE of the XXX State BON in month/year was with the nominee.
