    The survey was sent five days after the preletter. One week after the initial survey mailing, a reminder postcard was sent to all participants. A second postcard was mailed about one week later to nonrespondents. Another survey, cover letter and return envelope was mailed to continued nonrespon- dents two weeks following the second postcard. A total of 65 surveys were mailed to bad addresses, and com- pleted surveys were received from 1,230 overall respondents for a 50% return rate.

The rose icon can be found everywhere in the metro area, such as in signage, metalwork, and names of stores, businesses and locally-produced products. The compass serves as a directional guide; a tool for the seeker to utilize in pioneering a path forward. Featured in the design are the Willamette and Columbia Rivers that run dramatically through the city and reinforce the concept of forging a trail despite all obstacles.

    And then looking at our current outcomes. As of March of this year, we have had over 284 agreed orders ratified for KSTAR, 276 of those nurses have enrolled or in the process of enrolling. And of those 276, 61 are in the process of enrolling or completing KSTAR, and we had a total of 189 nurses successfully complete KSTAR, and of those 26 nurses were referred back to the Board for unsuccessful completion, 26 of the 276. And then there have been 8 nurses of the 284 ratified orders who, for whatever reason, failed to enroll in the program as required by the order within 45 days of order ratification.
