    There are two major steps in the initial registration process. The first step is to apply with the desired NRB the candidate wants to practice in. Eligibility requirements are determined by that NRB. The second step is to complete account registration with Pearson VUE. This process is detailed on our website which there is a link to on the slide. These slides will be distributed after this event so you can have them as a resource.     The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing.
