And in fact, the Missouri Board doesn't have jurisdiction in other parts of the… So, these are really big issues that need to be thought through in terms of how public safety can be protected in a very dynamic, digital, mobile world. - Thank you, David. And just to tag on to what he said, one of the discussions was about at least if you are requiring a license in a jurisdiction, you are also making a statement that we expect you to abide by our laws and our practice in here.

So the objectives for today, at the end of the session, I hope that you are able to better understand the item development process and also how we make sure the content is accurate. What is NCLEX? NCLEX is the exam that we use to measure minimum competency in nurses. So the NCLEX exam is fair and comprehensive, it's entry-level, and it's current practice. The process that we use in developing the NCLEX is we include item development, maintenance, and measurement. For item development, it's the practice analysis. And I'm going to talk a lot about these steps as we go through, but this is an overview.

From March 20, 2023, to May 12, 2023, Respondent worked in Arizona on her multistate privilege to practice. 2. On or about May 24, 2023 the Board received a complaint from alleging Respondent failed to properly respond to the fall of Patient A.Y., failed to report the fall, -2- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 and did not respond truthfully when asked about the fall.

So that's one of the main issues that we've run into is that there's just an incredible lack of clarity and transparency about how we deal with this kind of information, which leads to a lot of frustration, you know? I think it really comes back to the idea of due process. If people trust that they're being treated fairly within a [00:25:30] process, if they can trust that the process is fair, they're much more likely to agree or at least, you know, abide by the decision that comes out of that process, whether or not they agree with it or not, right? So, just a lack of legitimacy in some ways to what we do. And then, sort of, another from the outside, there is societal stigma that [00:26:00] comes with having a criminal record, right?
