NCSBN ID: Unique Nurse Identifier Finding a Nurse Across Different Nurse License Verification Systems Each nursing regulatory body (NRB) manages and maintains their nurse license data set within their own license and enforcement system. NCSBN also manages a separate national nurse license data set through Nursys. This example shows three different nurse data sets, managed and maintained separately by the Texas Board of Nursing, the New Mexico Board of Nursing, and Nursys.
