    Recognizing the importance of collaboration and engagement with nurses in Arkansas, Sue spearheaded town hall meetings throughout the state, giving nursing students and nursing professionals a public voice and fostered a culture of inclusivity and transparency. She also helped establish the Center for Nursing in Arkansas and was instrumental in APRNs getting full practice authority in the state. Through her active involvement on the NCSBN Board of Directors, Sue has instilled a sense of purpose and pride within her board staff. Leading by example, she fosters mentorship and has cultivated a supportive work environment that encourages and inspires regulatory engagement at the local, state, and national levels.
