In 2010, 197,779 NCLEX-RN® and 82,521 NCLEX-PN® tests were adminis- tered. Because of the high-stakes nature of the NCLEX, great care is taken to ensure all administered tests are psychometrically sound, the content is valid, and the tests are legally defensible.
