NCSBN’s Director of Nursing Education will contact new education consultants, welcome them, and take them around the website. If the Education Consultant would like to be assigned to a coach, NCSBN’s Nursing Education Director will query the Education Consultant Network and find someone who both the novice consultant and the Director would consider to be a good fit. We will instruct the would-be coach to ask permission from his/her Executive Director before accepting the role.

Once they receive their ATT, they can schedule an appointment for their exam. We advise candidates to schedule an appointment as soon as possible, as the appointments can be filled up quickly. Candidates can register for their appointment online on the Pearson VUE website, or register over the phone by calling the Pearson VUE candidate services line. The NCLEX is offered in domestic and international test centers. More information regarding these test centers can be found on the NCLEX website. If candidates need to change their scheduled appointment, they can do so online or by calling Pearson VUE at least one full business day before their exam.

So in summary, early and consistent building of support is a vital key to success. And this includes education, transparency, and rationale for why the changes were made. Overcoming opposition through open forums and addressing misconceptions was very key as well. And as far as how can we get our APRNs mobile and agile across the United States, the APRN Compact in the policy brief became the most politically feasible and most doable option. It's been vetted. It was revised to meet modernization of practice and codify the Consensus Model, and it's ready to pave the way to a mobile and agile workforce for APRNs across the United States.

So I'd like to ask you again just on when we'll publish the next RN practice analysis and the next RN test plan. - Yes, as I mentioned, practice analysis is the starting point for the exam development. We just conducted the 2024 RN and PM practice analysis. The reports will be published on the NCSBN website in April 2025. So make sure you check that out. And based on the data from the practice analysis, we will re-evaluate the test plan. And the new test plan will be published at NCSBN website in January 2026, which will be effective in April 2026.
