As a new consultant with the BON, we were provided with information that NCSBN offers to novice nurse regulators. When I had gone onto the NCSBN Q: Does NCSBN have any resources for educators during this COVID-19 crisis? A: Yes! NCSBN has a dedicated COVID-19 website that is filled with information of interest to nurse educators. We encourage you to explore the website, in depth, as there is a lot of information avail- able. However, here are a few resources that might be especially valuable to educators: 1.

She fit a pattern later identified by Yorker. Rachels worked at night. Death was by injection of medication commonly found in hospitals, and Yorker says like many killers in her study, Rachels had been abused as a child. - She'd also watched her mother die on life support equipment, and I think she had some feeling of not wanting to put patients through heroics or through prolonging their life unnecessarily. - Rachels was suspected of killing 10 patients. She was found guilty, but mentally ill. These cases are shocking, but rare.

And then at the Area Meetings today, you'll also have an opportunity to discuss this ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 6 further and maybe a smaller group. And then a process will be created after the meeting and every member will be notified that there'll be an opportunity for written comment. The website has to be updated to make that possible. You'd be able to go on the website, go through each policy recommendation, make comments that you would like to have considered, and then the board of directors will consider all the comments and decide where we go from there.

Why are we more willing to negotiate a little bit more assertively for someone who's not ourselves?" Interesting things here. For women, okay, so this is ©2019 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 7 women overall negotiating on behalf of themselves for their starting salaries. [[00:26:30]] We see the starting salary that they received is lower, right? Here it's about $143,000 was in the study. I always think it's worth pointing out that this was a Harvard MBA class so the normal gender impacts we would actually see if we ran the study in a general population aren't there.

Mobilization is you believe in this thing that we all believe in. That is our rights, our love of our country, the country we share, and you fight. ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 11 You give up everything. You consent freely to die, the price of liberty. This is not New Hampshire. I'm not talking about live free or die, but I am talking about the costs of regime change. And if you overturn the old regime in the empire, that's an opening for rethinking, reconfiguring, but not when it comes to slavery at that point.

And through that process, we identified a lot of NCSBN resources that you may or may not know exist. I know I learned about some new ones. And this information will be made available to you all, so you can go back and look at the resources, whether it's on the website or obtaining it through a staff person as a follow-up to this session. I want to really thank the Board of Directors for answering these questions and being here for this resource-rich discussion.

Education Consultant Coach Guidelines
Site: ncsbn.org
NCSBN’s Director of Nursing Education will contact new education consultants, welcome them, and take them around the website. If the Education Consultant would like to be assigned to a coach, NCSBN’s Nursing Education Director will query the Education Consultant Network and find someone who both the novice consultant and the Director would consider to be a good fit. We will instruct the would-be coach to ask permission from his/her Executive Director before accepting the role.
