The differences in employment sites might be due to the inclusion of more foreign-educated nurses in the current study. Approximately 27% of the 146 nurses educated outside the U.S. reported working in nursing homes compared to about 3% of baccalaureate prepared nurses and 7% of associate degree nurses.
