The adaptive algorithms can recapture your true ability later when you perform stably on the exam. In the Next Generation NCLEX CAT Exam, you will be given both dichotomous and the polytomous scoring items. Dichotomous items can only be scored as correct or incorrect. You get one point for a correct response and zero points for an incorrect response. Polytomous scoring means items can have a multiple score points, such as 1, 2, and 3. The polytomous scoring allows us to distinguish people who know something from ©2022 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc.

Each line represents a different April testing quarter. The top line is for the April 2022. Now this was the April quarter before the polytomous CAT was introduced. So this was back when everything was scored dichotomously. As you can see, the line is above the other two lines at all points across the ability domain. The other two lines represent the standard error of measure for the April '23 and '24 quarters. Both of these had new polytomous scoring implemented. As you can see, both lines are fairly equivalent and both are substantially below the 2022 line.

Lipophilicity of THC accounts for its accumulation after chronic repeated use. 34,35,36,37,38 Metabolic elimination of THC from newly smoked cannabis is much slower after years of heavy cannabis use. When a single 6.8% THC cannabis cigarette was administered to frequent and to occasional users, plasma THC concentrations were significantly higher in frequent smokers than in occasional smokers at most time points from 0.5 to 30 h. Median (range) time of last detection was 3.5 h (1.1 to .30 h) in frequent smokers and 1.0 h (0-2.1 h) in occasional smokers. In chronic heavy (daily) cannabis users, THC can be detected in blood during a month of sustained abstinence.

She explained that nurses, too, need excellent education and training because the lives of patients are at stake. The two faculty members, the Secretary General of the Jordanian Nursing Council and the Secretary General of Family Affairs in Jordan, asked to visit a U.S. hospital and school of nursing. We took them to Rush University College of Nursing and the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Kathleen Andreoli, Dean of the College of Nursing, and Dr. Jane Llewellyn, Vice President of Clinical Nursing Affairs, graciously hosted the visit.

We request that they provide the answer in, let's say, X amount of decimal points, and we provide them with a unit of measure on the outside of the answer box. So the key is to really key in on the directions of that question because we're asking for the answer to appear in a certain way, meaning one, two, or three decimal point places, but the units sit outside of the answer box. - Nicole, thank you for that.
