The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. We figure it's a year and a half, based on our data that we collected, but would like to know what your perspective is. - So, it's difficult to measure something like competence in this kind of a study. What we did try to do to get at that a little bit was the frequency with which a board sees a particular case.
