That was happening in the 2015-16 period no time in this project that we are talking about how he initiated around 2020. So we have roughly 8,000 NPs. I will move to the next line and give you a few more details on our process. About this point in time says in 2021, we had that number. If I look at now who we are, who is their profession and what do we look like, there's about 8,000 NPs working across the country. Canada is a huge geography, but we really only actually have 310,000 NPs across the country. I say there's more nurses in the state of California than there is all across Canada.

So, for instance, we might look at licensed psychologists that we think tend to be licensed in all 50 states, and compare those to an occupation we think is generally unlicensed, such as biologists. And if psychologists make more money than biologists, we say, "Voilà, there is evidence there that licensing raises wages." Voilà. Again, I can think of about 16 things wrong with this, in part because I have yet to say, "I think I'll go visit my biologist today, I'm feeling slightly blue, my biologist will cheer me up." There is an obvious consumer component to psychologists that are missing from laboratory biologists. And so the comparison breaks down if these two occupations differ in any way.

So, you can see this one, "For each potential order, click to specify whether the potential order is anticipated, nonessential or contraindicated." And so, you have a client out here, something's going on with that client. Now you can do a lot of matrices around that, to follow what is happening. "How would I think about this?Can I anticipate something happening?Do I understand this is non-essential? Nothing's going to happen with that." These are things that when we walk into client's room, we should know. We've found a way to measure this. By the way, take a look at that item. How many possible responses are there? Anybody can do some quick math.

So I think with the compact, we're seeing a little bit less of this. But anyway, if you've ever doubted your statutory authority to share information, here it is. Yes, sir. - [Man] I don't know if it's a little outside of the scope your presentation is, but from a non-compact perspective, if we're trying to get information from another state, obviously this only applies to party states, I don't know if there's sort of a best practice related to that. But I'm coming from doing a lot of multi-state with the Attorney General's office where we're always entering into common interest agreements and have Listservs to be able to share this, where I guess it doesn't seem like that's at least what we're taking part in now.

I hope all of you are curious as to what it does under the hood. So let's look at an example here. These are data points on a block. And there are two types of data. Take any example. Diabetics and those who are not diabetics. Chronic patients versus non-chronic patients. Patients who will readmit versus patients who will not readmit. You can pose this problem in many different ways. The greens and the red and the blues are well separated for most of the space on this block, but there are regions where there is a lot of confusion.

So you have this situation where you have this person who puts himself out to be an expert in terms of elderly care who was hired to perform these assessments and to assist him in performing these assessments. He has the interim administrator who had no medical background. So what they did was they assessed this 83-year-old resident. And some of the things that they found were red and non-blanching skin behind each heel and on the buttocks, which is an indication of a pressure bruise. She was frail. She had severe cognitive impairment, had a poor appetite, chronic nausea, weight loss, and that she also scratched herself. She also hurt herself.
