Where Practice Takes Place Lawful practice requires that a nurse be licensed or have the privilege to practice in the state where the patient or recipient of practice is located at the time nursing service is provided unless an exemption is in place.

If you remember, I mentioned earlier that the current cut score was established in 2021, and it's effective from 2022 to 2026. It is obvious that we must set the cut score for a new exam so candidates can get a pass or fail result. The current cut standard is established in 2021, even before the first exam was administered. However, the standard is not forever.
