Part II – NCLEX® Examination Statistics The NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations are administered on behalf of 59 of the 60 NCSBN Member Boards (excluding the Nebraska Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Board, which is not responsible for administering entry-level nurse licensure). The purpose of these examinations is to determine if a candidate possesses the minimum knowledge and abilities to provide entry-level nurs- ing care that is safe and effective. Candidate performance on the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations is summarized and report- ed by quarter and year. This publication provides a detailed breakdown of candidate performance for 2012 and 2013, as well as historical data.

This results in a total score of two points. The last item that we'll cover that uses the 0/1 scoring rule is the bow-tie item. This item uses draggable tokens from three unique categories. Examinees complete the item by dragging the tokens to the correct target drop zone.

But yes, we will talk about that more later. - Okay. All right. Concentrate for this one, I had to read it twice. It was worded very clearly, there's just a lot there, I think. In a standalone Drag and Drop, right? So, I'm picturing Bow Tie perhaps, does the scoring depend at all on the order that the tokens are moved to the targets, or would you get the same score as long as all the correct tokens end up with all the correct targets?

Here, examinees must drag the tokens to their respective target drop zones. Importantly, tokens are restricted through their proper drop zones. This prevents examinees from accidentally dropping tokens into the wrong location. Let's apply the rationale scoring rule to dyad items. Because examinees demonstrate comprehension only when both components are correct, there's only one way to earn a point.

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. A companion bill ( H.R. 708 ) was introduced by Reps. Bob Latta (R-OH) and Debbie Dingell (D-MI) in the House of Representatives on February 2, 2021. The bill seeks to provide temporary licensing authority for health care professionals to practice in-person or via telehealth anywhere in the U.S. with a license in good standing in only one jurisdiction during a period where both a Public Health Emergency has been declared by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) and a national emergency has been declared by the President.

These tokens are different colors. As you can see, the left column where actions to take is a light green color, the middle column is a blue, and the right-hand column parameters to monitor is a gray. These correspond with the targets above each column or each well of the tokens.
