Some of the red flags that we can talk about. Red flags might be if they have a lot of licenses. Now, sometimes there's a reason to have multiple licenses. If you're doing the telehealth, you may need licenses in every state, particularly if you're in a non-compact state. But it's very unusual to have a whole lot of licenses unless you're in that type of job. So that's always a red flag. Other red flags are if they're disciplined for fraudulent-type behaviors. Were they lying on their application? Did they leave information off of what is mandatory reporting?

The current Model Act & Rules were updated by a NCSBN committee under a charge to perform ongoing review, revision, and development of Model Act & Rules to reflect the current regulatory environment and to remove any other language that does not support public safety.
