And again, for me, just making sure that I'm teaching those skills, because when I first started using the clinical evaluation tool, I thought, "This is a great tool to evaluate students' clinical judgment," but I felt like it was not fair if I didn't spend the time teaching the actual clinical reasoning skills involved, like the observation, like, you know, their focused observation and how nurses actually do this in practice. My second disclaimer is your participation is equally as important as mine. So there's going to be opportunities throughout our next 55 minutes together where I'm going to invite you to engage either as kind of the folks sitting next to you or as you hit your mics to share what it is that I prompt you with. Sound fair? Okay. Let's warm things up here. We have learned from recent experience that innovation comes quick, and it's important not to regulate at the technology but regulate for it. ©2020 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. Full details on our methods and approach are provided in the publication of the main study findings which are readily available and free for download on the Journal for nursing regulation website.
