The change we made here was putting the entire section in carrots. The group did not believe there was evidence to mandate limitations on terms or years of service, and wanted the entire decision to be made by individual jurisdictions. Section 2. Officers 26. The primary outcome for this study was operational efficiency measured as the number of days required to resolve a case. We also explored case resolution in general as a supplemental outcome. We then extended the analysis degenerate receiver operator characteristic curves to identify specific cut points at which boards could expect to see a drop-off in operational efficiency for significant continuous predictors. And finally, we incorporated participants open-ended narrative responses using natural language processing. You'll see shortly that we kept the presentation of these results fairly high-level for today's discussion.

The Model Education Rules (NCSBN, 2004a) give an overview of the documentation that is generally required. Each board of nursing differs as to when the program should submit written materials. One jurisdiction may ask for submission of the self-study prior to the visit, although others may ask for documentation at the time of the site visit. Other boards may ask for a combination of pre-visit and on-site document review. Boards may request materials pertaining to the organization and administration of the nursing program.

A 2010 survey of BONs conducted by NCSBN indicated an overwhelming majority of responding BONs (33 of the 46 respondents) reported receiving complaints of nurses who have violated patient privacy by posting photos or information about patients on social networking sites. The majority (26 of the 33) of BONs reported taking disciplinary actions based on these complaints. Actions taken by the BONs included censure of the nurse, issuing a letter of concern, placing conditions on the nurse’s license or suspension of the nurse’s license.
