The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) produces publications, online courses and videos that contribute to the body of nursing knowledge. These increasingly complex decisions often require the use of clinical judgment to support patient safety. As a result of the importance of clinical judgment in the delivery of safe and effective nursing care at the entry level, NCSBN has added clinical judgment to the 2021 Practice Analyses to accompany the existing focus of entry-level nursing activities frequency and importance. This session will discuss the results of the 2021 Practice Analyses and pending updates to the NCLEX® test plans that will be effective April 2023. 2022   | Event Presentation Q&A Session One   2022   | Event Presentation Standard Setting   Standard setting is a process used by testing professionals to determine the passing score on a test.
