ORBS Complaint Portal is the Board of Nursing’s method of recording online complaints, from the public, nurses and employers to ORBS Back Office . An individual can come to ORBS Complaint Portal from the Board of Nursing’s website. On your desktop, is a link to ORBS Complaint Portal . Please select the link and wait for instructions. Please do not continue until the facilitator instructs you. Filing a Complaint The ORBS Complaint Portal is entirely open to the public. The system is designed to ensure data integrity and protection of personal information by only allowing complainants the ability to open, complete, and submit a complaint, within the same session.

The Nurse Licensure Guidance tool provides state-specific licensure requirements, based on where you will be living and where you want to practice. Once you submit your responses, you will be guided to the state’s licensure requirements for internationally educated nurses, such as: English proficiency examinations Credentials evaluation (to compare your education to nursing education in the U.S.) Social Security Number requirements Other relevant application information Board of Nursing (BON) contact information Please visit the USCIS website if you have questions about your Visa. Obtaining a Visa is not within the authority of the board of nursing. Domestically Educated Nurses This tool will help you learn about the licensure requirements in the state where you plan to live and practice.
