We had some public health system, but it was not nearly what it should be. There were no clinics in any of these small villages. And Senator Stevens wanted to change all that. I went to many of the villages with him right before I went to college. He wanted to visit, see what the conditions were like. So that was a real eye-opener. After I came back from college, I got involved in the local political party. My parents had always been very involved in community issues. In fact, as my father lay dying in the hospital, he was giving me messages to take to the city council on an issue he cared deeply about.

    - I feel like I'm pretty genius at this and the reason is because I'm reaching out to these folks, these nurses who are, you know, they're going to volunteer. And when I reach out to them and I go to these hospitals and I meet with these different nurses, like, in all points of the state, I mean, these nurses are doing a lot of good, in silos and what we want is to be a team. I want to know what this part of the state is doing, and this part of the state is doing, and the middle is doing, and the middle is doing. They may be involved in things.

But awareness is so important. That's what this meeting is about, this is what this training is about, to expose you to different things and see what works for you, and what doesn't work for you, in your day-to-day. Now, pause. I think you should pause at three points. Briefly, pause. When you get that complaint, the very first in it comes through the door. It's a complaint our intake division has looked at it and they sent it to an investigator. When you first read that complaint, just reflect on it. Read it, walk away, reflect on it, do your little walk around the lake, whatever you need to do, but just reflect on it.

And then we found that with this consistency across all of our different sites and platforms, we can strengthen our image and we can build trust with our users. And then finally, we're making sure we're capturing analytics so we can actively use this data in order to help guide our decisions about how we treat our online presence. And then where do we go from here? So these are just a few key bullet points that I wanted to share before I wrap up about things that I always like to keep in mind as I work in this online presence world. ©2022 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All the functions that you perform or that your team members perform at the board that have anything to do with the exam, well, we want you to be able to do those things better, more conveniently, more efficiently, in a framework that looks more modern, etc. So again, I'm going to come back to each of these three points. Let's start with the first one, expanded access. Okay. So I'm going to contrast what access looks like today, but it's really something you already know. Still, I'll show a couple of examples and really highlight the importance of expanding access, and then give you at least a little hint of what it's going to look like in the future.

So, we have the evidence there to move forward. - Thank you. We're running short of time. I apologize for not getting through... A question, a moment. Getting through all the slides, but we're going to skip through a few just to touch base on the key points here. But another question. - [Kevin] Well, I don't know if I have so much of a question. So, your prior slide... I'm Kevin from Missouri General Counsel. - Hi, Kevin. - The prior case you just... Yeah, this one, Nurse Smith. I actually prosecuted that case.

Future pass rates can be predicted by imposing these values as cut-scores upon a representative ability distribution. Conversely, designated pass rates (as suggested by the employer and educa- tor survey) can be imposed upon recent data sets to find the value that will produce that pass rate. Also, historical pass points can be included as well. Background Information A chart that illustrates the pass rate by quarter since April 1994 was created. This chart also indicates the particular passing standard that was in effect at any given time. Also, a table containing the mean ACT Assessment® composite score by graduation year was created.
