In fact, a total of 21 states had executive orders that were issued. There were 5 in which APRN restrictions were lifted in entirety and then the remaining 16 had easing of some restrictions and Tennessee was one of those states. We had an executive order that was issued in March of 2020 that removed some of the requirements for APRNs to have their mandatory chart reviews and their every 30- day visit by the collaborating physician, among other minor releases to APRN practice. https://www.ncsbn.org/16412.htm ©2022 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc.
