The RP-7 will provide a means for faculty to try new teaching approaches, expand their technological skills and explore the world of different health care modalities that may be incorporated in future delivery sites.” Meeting a Regional Need Studies commissioned by the Nursing Institute of West Central Ohio have indicated that the 16-county region of west central Ohio will continue to experience a downward trend of available nurses and faculty. The results also indicated that the west central Ohio nursing workforce is aging two years ahead of the nation.

When we talk to our colleagues, you know, that are really, you know, at the front lines, practicing, leading their teams, educating our future nurses, we need to say to them, "You don't just need to meet once a year when you determine how many clinical sites you need. It really needs to be an ongoing conversation." And this is one of those topics that we should bring up and talk, and we do bring up at the national level, how we can, you know, how we can collaborate. What are those red flags we all need to be aware of?
