And there was no incentive for me to get involved in that crazy stuff. Unfortunately, even as a non-violent person in Central, I had to put up with other people fighting because they didn't understand non-violence. Most of those kids at Central spoke the language of violence. Non-violence was as much a foreign language to them as Chinese. They couldn't deal with it.

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. The Tri-Council celebrates the vital role nurses play in society and honors the invaluable contributions of nurses worldwide. Explore NCSBN’s National Simulation Guidelines for prelicensure nursing programs, including evidence‑based standards, expert development, criteria, and resources. In addition to the simulation guidelines, Nursing Regulatory Bodies and nursing programs should consider the following criteria when determining the amount of simulation that can substitute for traditional clinical hours: Overall number of clinical hours required by the program Pass rates of students Availability of clinical sites Turnover of faculty/program director Complaints from students Retention rates Guidelines Evidence Resources Guidelines There is commitment on the part of the school for the simulation program. Evidence Letter of support from administrators stating the program has their support and will be given the resources to sustain the program on a long-term basis.
