All rights reserved. 5 Faculty are leaving and faculty are resigning as other nurses are resigning, and that is putting up a barrier in terms of the numbers of students that can come into nursing programs. The traditional issues have been with the number of clinical sites that are available, and things are easing up with COVID.

Enhancing these academic practice partnerships will help to identify clinical sites for students to complete the requirements for their degree. Streamline the recruitment of nurses by practice partners is another advantage to academic practice partnerships. And we can help to better educate employers based on these relationships that we've built.

Most of the health care violence people hear about is within the hospital setting, while those who travel to home health and hospice sites are often overlooked. This travel places these nurses outside the scope of hospital security. For this reason, it is important to not only provide training and education to empower nurses, but also improve the security protocol outside the hospital.

The “wait period” between taking the same type of exam was reduced from ninety to forty-five days (dependent on- board participation). • 2005 - International administration of the NCLEX began in the United Kingdom (England), Hong Kong and South Korea. • 2006 - In April, additional international test sites were added. The new centers were in located in Sydney, Australia; Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, Canada; Frankfurt, Germany; Chiyoda-ku and Yokohama, Japan; Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai, India; Mexico City, Mexico; and Taipei, Taiwan.
