The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. “These DA actions will enhance public protection nationally and internationally, preparing NCSBN for the future,” commented Douglas. “As it has been since the inception of our organization, the determination, grit, collective wisdom, innovation and sound decision making of our members lights the way forward.”

Approve FY25 LSC Minutes The committee reviewed the minutes from the October 2024 meeting. The minutes were adopted as presented. The committee discussed outstanding items from the October 2024 meeting. Jim Cleghorn provided an update regarding the voting software used at Delegate Assembly (DA) and noted that the vendor was required to comply with all applicable standards and security procedures, as required by the organization. Cleghorn also reported that the Board of Directors (BOD) discussed DA meeting feedback at its December 2024 meeting, including candidate survey information.
